Hey there Paul -

The amount you've lost actually sounds better than a lot of the band people that I've spoken to in my weight loss program.  But keep this in mind - the weight loss isn't a race.  Each of us lose weight at different rates, and the bandsters will lose weight (on the average) slower than bypass people.

Be careful of falling into the trap of comparing your own weight loss to other peoples'.  76 pounds is an enormous amount and a huge accomplishment - take pride in that and work to keep that number increasing over the next year.

I lost about 80 the first year. The band helps me to keep it there. I'm almost coming up on 2 years and I am still learning to eat with the band. It's a tool for weight loss and not really an "easy button" as I am sure you are finding out.
