Ok I really need some help here. The last 2 months when it's that lovely time of the month, my cravings for something sweet & something salty have come back sooo bad. My SF icecream isn't doing it. I am constantly hungry during this time. I have tried drinking more water, getting back on the treadmill and going for a walk. Nothing seems to work. I feel like I am going crazy with the desire to shove food in my mouth. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I've always struggled with this but it has been so much worse since surgery.  I have been letting myself graze on "good", high protein snacks during this period.  I am not sure that is the best answer but nothing seems to really help.

Well maybe if I give in to a little and snack I won't feel so overwhelmed by it.  It's just driving me crazy, lol.

I'm 9 weeks out today, and I started my whatever you wanna call it yesterday. I don't have any symptoms, cramps , or bloating. But..for 2 days before...I feel like my stomach is a bottomless pit. I found myself wanting to snack.....I also drank more water, and I did make good choices when I did eat something, but I wanted pretzels...I had 2 pretzel rods......it kinda helped, but it kinda upset my pouch. She gets pissy real easy these days....lol

I am thankful it didn't hit me that soon. The more water I drink I still want food. I guess it could be worse if it were all the time instead of just a week. I am just scared of falling into the habit of snacking every month and gaining weight back.

Lol, I like how you refer to your pouchy as "HER' too cute.

Protein is the only thing that helps, at least for me. You can do salty but remember it will add water weight for awhile and sometimes that is discouraging....hang in there!

Yeah I thought about the sal****er retention, ugh. I did snack yesterday on a few peanuts and a sf peppermint patty but it only helped for a bit. Thanks Deb.
