Passed the stress test
I had my stress test that I was stressing about and Dr Ince said I passed. It was not an easy process but I made it. Thanks to Dr Ince and his encouragement I have jumped another hurdle. I have a Psych evaluation today and a meeting with the Nutritionist. I hope I have lost a few more pounds. This process is really bringing out some heavy emotions in me. FInding out things that are in need of attention and making me realize how important that this surgery is to my life. I keep looking to the light at the end of the tunnel.
A couple more nutritionist meetings and a group meeting and I will have all of my pre approval assignments out of the way. One step closer to the finish line.

Hey there! Smart boy - each of these hurdles to the surgery give us the opportunity to learn something about ourselves. Sometimes it's just a little interesting something something - sometimes its a missing piece of the puzzle as to how we got ourselves into this situation in the first place.
The entire process has been one of the best personal growth experiences I've ever had. Welcome to it!

It's been 16 months since surgery for me and I still remember the anxiety and fear during those pre-op months. These things seem like such hurdles and they are. Just take it one day at a time and try to keep your emotions in check.
I found it really helpful to read blogs from people who were many months post-op. As I read their entries, I realized that I was just like them. As the posts went to post-op I saw how their lives began to transform. Seek out some blogs and read them. You might find them encouraging and useful in your journey. Best of luck! -- Tom
