Hello all!

So I just finished my 5th month with my nutritionist and go for my last appt on November 10th. I got a call from my surgeons office today to set up my final appointment with them on November 16th. The nurse told me that hopefully my surgery will be the week after Thanksgiving. All of a sudden all of the excitement and looking forward to the surgery has turned into me being scared ****less. Now I've got all the questions running through my mind "am I really ready for this?", "can I truly do this?". Ughh, I'm sure this is normal, but I can't help 2nd guessing myself right now! And I guess I just needed to vent and everyone on this board is very supportive so I figured this was a good place to do it.

Hi there!  Most of us were scared and all of your thoughts are real.   I hope you just continue reading all the posts and know that most of us believe the hard work, dr visits and all were worth it!   I wish they had this 20 years ago!  My life is changed and I am so much more active in life!  Good luck to you!

I kept thinking isn't there one more diet I can try? I was even thinking this as my hubby was driving me to the hospital. It's totally normal to wonder if it's the right thing to do.
