DUUUUUUDE!!!!

Words can not describe the joy I feel!!!!  Today I had PATS and I just SWORE something was going to keep me from my surgery-  but UH UH nothing did, YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!  It's a go for September 24th!!  In a couple of hours it will be ONE WEE****il my new birthdate!!  I feel sooo unbelievably blessed to have been given this second shot at life.   Thank you God!!!!

That's great news!  Can't wait to say "welcome to the loser's bench!"

Which surgery are you going with?

The same - RNY.  It's been very good to me, but just make sure that you're not thinking of it as a cure all.  It's a fantastic tool to make your body behave the way we were always told it "should" while dieting.  It's fantastic, but you still have to do the work.

You're more than capable of it, though.  You're going to love it. :-)

right on!  congrats.  it really is a blessing to have this second shot.  whatever happens in the hospital, just remember that you will get stronger every day and yes thurs will be ur new birthday!  how exciting for you!

Thank you everyone :)  Tomorrow I start my day before surgery liquid diet!!!  Jeeeez, I'm even excited about that!!!!  Ima mess, lmao!!  However, I know I won't be excited when I get my first hunger pain.

hey jill... warning... i went into total emo hell in the first 2 days of the pre-opliquid diet.  my dr wanted me on it for 2 weeks.... omg... ur lucky ur dr only wants u on 1 day of liquid. 

i know ur surgery will be a HUGE success.  yay you!!!

Tomorrow is your surgery!  Good luck lady!  I didn't have to do all liquids before my surgery at all.  As for the Hunger pangs I didn't get my first one till 4 months out and I still don't get them all that often so don't worry about it!  You will begin to look so good that the hunger pangs don't matter at all.
