Three months and 72 pounds later...
It's been quite the ride and I it's not even close to being over yet. I hopped on the scale this morning and it said 300.0 lbs exactly.
This is significant for a few reasons:
1) I have reached my first mini-goal of getting myself to 300 lbs.
2) Today marks three months out.
3) I am essentially half way to my goal of 225 lbs.
Physically, I feel the best I've felt in years even though I'm still 300 lbs. I have no more sciatica, my back is feeling good, I have a ton more energy.
I am cautiously optimistic that my seasonal affective disorder will be better this year. So far so good. I should know by 15 October if things are going to be good or bad.
My next goal is to get down to 272 or to have lost 100 lbs.
Thank you to everyone who has gotten me this far. I honestly do not think I could have made it to where I am today if it wasn't for all the wonderful people who have helped me along the way.

Congrats Kevin! That is quite a goal to make. Just think you will be seeing 200s on the scale very very soon. -- Tom
