In SF Bay Area looking for family who understands this journey

Hi Folks!

I'm very proud to say that i'm 11 days post op!  yippee!  and i'm doing really well.  Just inquiring if there are any other Bay Area WLS family folk around.  I'm not looking to hook up (omg no!)  I just want to connect with more like-minded folks going through, who have gone through, or who will be going through what i'm going through - the journey of a lifetime!

Hi and Welcome!  I'm in the Bay Area and it looks like I had my surgery 10 days before you.  Congratulations!  Hope your surgery went well and that you're recovery is going well also.

Nadine: ya... surgery went really well and so is my recovery.  i'm venturing into pureed foods today.  woo hoo!

Congrats! I'm a few weeks out, family, and in the bay area too!! I'm in the same boat as Nadine, but I think the stall is finally over. Fingers crossed!

I'm so sorry you're experiencing the dreaded stall too!  Finger and toes crossed for both of us!

 Yikes..hope I'm not in the dreaded stall...

I am close to the Bay Area (Tracy) I hd surgery 5 1/2 years ago so I know how it is for sure! Feel free to reply privately to me and I can give you my number to chat. I was in a bad car accident last year, as well as a small stroke this past June (bad luck huh?) I am home and have a great deal of free time. So just let me know and I will chat or just listen!
