Hi Everyone -

Just a quick post to let people know that my newest WLS article has been posted in the newest online version of "Mom, Guess What" magazine.  You can read it over at Momguesswhat.com.

This week's article has me talking about what it's like to see your face change over the months post surgery.

For those of you who don't know already, I write about my experiences about losing weight and fitting in in the gay community twice monthly.  This one will make article 12!  The articles try to be humorous and informative, and it's my hope that they're easy to read.

Hope you all enjoy!

I am so sorry about your earring.

Your article was just what I needed tonight.  You always seem to bring the scary changes back around to something positive with a path forward.  Have you thought about a compilation?  Beginnings of a book?

Thinking about it...curious if there would be an audience.  Might have to ditch the gay content to make it mainstream, maybe.

Love this one too. Had a good laugh about the wedding ring. That is soooooooooo true. I lost mine doing laundry. It was the last ring I could still wear and that was the day I started weraing it around my neck.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Hah!  It seems that the rings falling off is a milestone for many WLSers.  :-)

Don,

Your articles are great.  This one about seeing someone else's face in the mirror really rings true for me and so many others, I'm sure.

Keep up the great work and keep on writing.
