Newbie Hello

Hi!

My name is Danielle and I am new here and to OH.  I have my surgical consult on 9/3/09 and I am excited/nervous.  

I am really excited to have found this site, and this forum!  I am a high school teacher, and my wife and I have a 1.5 yr old son named Hank.  

I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome!  I've (dare I speak for everyone) have learned tons from this website and received lots of support from this forum.  Explore every nook; it definitely provided the most useful info for me pre-, peri- and post-operatively.

I teach English and Math in a large urban school.  I love your name on here...I am inked also.  Mine are on my forearms, legs, and elbows up on both arms across my back.  

Next year I will be teaching all ELA and I am rpetty psyched.  I love it.  How about you?

I had the RNY at MGH June 2..it went very smoothly  and I am down 47 lbs so far...!

 Wow!  that is super inspirational...47 pounds since June!  I am going to be at Newton Wellesley I think.  I live about 30 mins outside of Boston but I work in the city.  You?
