Hello!

I feel like I am doing ok... it's been 4 months since my lapband surgery and I have lost about 47lbs!!!!   I'm feeling good but need to get out there and excersise more but with a part time job, a full time job, school and social activities, I need to lighten my load...  do the excersise for me!

if anyone is considering lapband I highly recommend it!    The energy levels have increased, my moods are better, I was taken off blood pressure medicine, my dating life hs increased, and I feel better about myself!

Another exciting landmark I reached... I'm sure many people have a ton of clothes in their cloests... some of many sizes... when we were small...when we were heavier.   I have officially gone through every size in my closet and now I have no choice but to go out and buy some new clothes!   Everything I have it too big now!    I've gone from a 48/50 waist to a 42 waist!

I'd love to hear about your progress too!!!

Heya!

Congratz on your awesomeness!!!

At 5.5 months out I'm down 145 lbs.
I can easily wear an XL (down from 5X)
I can wear anywhere from a 44 short to a 48 pant (down from 58/60)
I can walk out of the house with a wifebeater on and not feel self concious
I can take my shirt off at the pool without worrying what people will think.

Life is great!

(Although my Penney's card is maxed... so winter shopping is going to be rough lol)

That's wonderful Jamie!

I was in Montreal last weekend and forgot to pack my jeans for an informal work event.  My friend gave me a pair of his pants to try on and THEY FIT!  They are a 38 inch waist which I have not worn since I was in high school.

It feels good to be in smaller clothes.  I still feel like I am a big person though but when I put on those pants, I felt smaller for a change.  I have also had an uptick in interest from men that at one time I considered unattainable.  There are a lot of adjustments.

Good luck to you!

hey handsome :)  I'm so glad to hear from you!  it sounds like you're doing fantastically!

After 15 months I wear:

a Large shirt (down from a 6 - 7XL)
size 38 - 40 pants (down from a size 70)

I still have all my big clothes in piles on the floor to give away to my friends who need them LOL  they are so heavy now!
