Hey Ya'll,

As you know from Heather's post I made it through surgery, and am now home dealing with recovery (gas pains ugh!) I feel really happy that I did this- and can't wait to start dropping those pounds.

I'm walking and sipping and resting too! My girlfriend has been so helpful and supportive- I could not ask for a better partner!!

Thanks so much for all the well wishes, I can't tell you how much your support meant to me. It was so nice to read all those positive posts!!

Good Luck to all of you too,
danni

I bet it feels wondeful knowing that part is over.  And you are on the downhill for weightloss.  Hope it all continues to go wonderfully for you.!!

Hi Danni,

It sounds like everything went perfectly.  Again, the first few weeks were the hardest.  Start exercising - it gets easier fast!  The eating (or drinking and pureeing) also gets easier fast.  Chew, sip and don't drink and eat - it avoids upsets!!

How long are you taking off work?  How about your GF?

Take care, Meg

I've gotta go back on the 24th of this month and my GF has to go back on the 17th, it's been so nice to have her around- is it bad that I want her to skip work??

I had post-op bleeding that kept me in the hospital for 6 days.  Cindy stayed with me the whole time.  And, she took a few more days (perhaps a week - can't remember now) off once I was home.  I wanted her home.  Don't feel the least bit guilty about wanting her to skip work.
