Hi

After such a lovely reply to my post i couldn't help but reply.

November will be here before you know it, and a few weeks after you'll feel like a new person.  Life will begin to offer so much more than you ever thought possible.

Post surgery I was in hospital for 2 days (my surgery wasn't until the afternoon so it was late when I got back to my room) and have to attend appointments at 6 weeks and then every 6 months for the next 5 years.

Attend all the support groups you can - actually met a great lesbian couple, one of whom was in the room next to me in the hospital.  There are so many of us with similar stories who know what you're going through.

Walk walk walk - you'll recover so much quicker if you do.

Respect yourself - the doctors and staff at the hospital treated me with more respect and dignity than I've had for myself in a long time.  I'm starting to get that back now.

Hope this helps!
