First Time POST - and excited!!

Great news to report.. JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY INSURANCE, (Independant Blue Cross) - after starting my journey on 5/19/2009 with all the requirement tests -it's finally been aproved (they said for Aug 18 and Aug 19?- i dont really know what they meant by that ) ((im still a little confused and shocked all at the same time its beyond words... ) I called my Dr's Intake cordinator Chrstine, left a message and now im waiting on her to call me BACK!!.... this feels like its so unreal and i cannot believe after all this time its finally happending...!!! AHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh i never want to wake up from this dream.

The 2 days prolly means you were approved for 2 days stay at the hospital ..that is what it said when I had my surgery any way!

Congratulations!  I had surgery on July 7 and with the pre-surgery diet that I started on June 23 and weight loss since surgery I'm up to 50 pounds. 

Congratulations.  Had my surgery on the 23rd (Last Thursday), am home and feeling great (most of the time anyway).  Was self pay so didn't have to jump through the insurance hoops although there were plenty of requirements anyway.  The time between now and then will go by really quickly - what is it? 3 weeks?  I just feel like I've been given a second chance at life and am so unbelievably grateful for that.  Still feel like I'm in this dream and it's wonderful!!!

Welcome and congrats! Like Brooke said, it means you have been approved for two days in the hospital. Don't stress about that. I was in for a total of 4 days and was only approved for 2. Insurance paid for the whole stay.
