EDIT: Ok so I was just on the Wii Fit and when I actually thought about the numbers, I was only down 14, not 24, I swear I used to be a math major!!!! Must have been sleeping or something! Either way I'm down 20 now from surgery. I promise I'll subtract better next time!!! 


I had my 10 day check up today with the weight control dr, not the surgeon, and the dietition. I have lost 24 lbs since my surgery day, I am cleared for pureed foods!!!!! I just had some tuna with a little relish and light miracle whip. It was WONDERFUL!!!! I went shopping and got some Fage yogurt, cottage cheese and some soy milk. I don't think I'm lactose intolerant, just like different flavors sometimes. I made some splenda sweetened strawberry-pineapple-peach jam to flavor the yogurt. My wife is making a ham based bean soup that I'll be able to puree for dinner! then some dessert consisting of a soy based protein shake!!! YAY!!!

Try whipped cottage cheese with stuff mixed in . . . also like it with salt and pepper.

great job!!!!! I had my surgery a year ago and lost 140lbs RNY.  your body will go through a total transformation.  some of the things you use to it you might not be able to tolerate them any longer but it is all worth it 8) in the end.
