I got approved for a loan alright...a very, very small loan.  I'm so disappointed right now I could cry.  My credit is good and I can afford the payments, I don't get it.  By the time I save enough for the surgery costs now , it will have gone up so  much that I still can't have it done.  Grrrrr.

Focus on the things that you have control over.   Start looking at your options job wise.  Employers like Starbucks offer WLS benefits.  Don't give up!!  If it's one thing I've learned, if you really want something, you'll get it!!

Good Luck!!!

Agreed.  Check out your insurance options and try and find a job with the right coverage to help you achieve your goal.

I, for example, have a basic Blue Shield HMO here in California.  It covered my surgery completely, with surprisingly little hassle.  If I'd had the PPO (often seen as the "better" option), I'd have had to pay a LOT more.

This is a pain in the butt, but I'm sad to say it won't be the last of them.  You can do this, once you dust yourself off and get up again.

We're pullin for you!
