ok... this is my last breath...

i have bcbs of tenesse thanks to the stupid corporate i work for... and i dont have one single bariatric related service...

now after over a year of loosing weight and putting myself through hell...

this is the deal.

if i use my insurance... the surgery is around 75 thousand dollars and my ins will pay 25 thousand only!!! so ill be stuck with the rest....

if i go self pay the surgery costs 21 thousands.. which i obviously dont have... and woudl have to pay before i have the surgery...

if i go to have it done in mexico is 10 thousand but i can get a loan because banks needs a credit score of 600 and mine is 558!!!!!!

im seriously devastated... im tired... im still a walking whale...  im scared even to think of any options because everything just keeps turning into caca!!!!

im about to go kill the mother of a gypsy!!!

Chin up!!!! Dont let this road block stop you......

Though a really bad place to be... At least you know where you stand on coverage and what you may have to do to get this thing done....... You have choices to make. You wouldn't have been the only one to make them.... Sorry you have to go through this...

GAH.  So sorry!  Wish I had something more constructive to suggest than "switch insurance" or to check if another plan available to you would cover it.

I got my plan through an HMO, and only had to pay a tiny, tiny amount out of pocket.  If I'd been on my PPO I'd have to have paid a LOT more (I'm talking thousands).

Keep it together.  You haven't gone through all this to let some beureaucracy take you down at the last minute.  See what other options you can find.

You're not finished yet!

The good news is that if you stay on top of bills and stuff you can raise the credit score pretty easily.

I would offer one word of warning about going to Mexico. That is you need to make sure there is a doctor close to you that will do follow up care if you can't get back to Mexico. Other than that I have heard nothing but good things about going there.

Good luck with all this.
