Gall Bladder Surgery

I'm off to have my gall bladder removed this AM. All I can think about is the pain from the gas they pump in to do the Lap surgery. I know this can not hurt as much as the open RNY I had in Feb. After this I hope to be able to eat meat again. Not a big fan of being vegan, nothing like a good med rare steak. I should be back home in a few hours with some good meds. Wish me luck.

Let me tell you. It's a walk in the park compaired to WLS! I had mine out in Aug of last year and had my surgery in Jan. I was 6 months out and had an attack. You really have to watch fats after gall bladder but it's not that bad since you have to already. I know I have lived in the bathroom this past week since I have been on vacay and not eating the way I should.

My surgeon has prescribed me a medication called Actigall. I'm really hoping this stops any gallbladder issues.

Good luck with your surgery.
