Banded this month and want to say hi

Hello everyone.  I got my band on June 10th.  Looking for new friends to start my new lifes journey with. 

Congratulations! and welcome!  This is a great forum - wonderful, knowledgeable people, and lots of support. 

I'm pre-op - have 3.3 more lbs to lose before I get my surgery date.

Hey Ya'll since I've got you here let me ask you a question.  I'm approximately 20 days post op.  I'm doing well except for the incision next to the port.  It seems like there is a big wad of something underneath the skin.  Its sore and I just want to hold it.   I have been working out so maybe its friction.  Is this something to be concerned about and should ask my doctor or is this just the healing process and will take time to mend?  Your thoughts are appreciated.
