While I am not hungry I worry that I am not eating enough and sometimes that I am eating too much..How can you tell ? Do you know when you have had too much? Body signals...?

My little pouch talks to me ..seriously. It starts to make all kinds of grumbly noises when I've eaten too much ..now it's gotten to the point where I can just eyeball whatever I'm making so I know what is enough - usually.

burps.  lots and lots of burps, along with discomfort....

I also get a lot of grumbling in my stomach/intestines/whatever... (I REFUSE to call it that "P" word )

Oh my, this is a very thin line for me.  Sometimes it comes down to one bite and I have ended up with my head in the toilet.   It took the longest time for me to learn to stop before that last bite.

My warning signals are a hiccup or a gurgly burp.  I have to stop right then even though it seems that I have not eaten very much.

I don't get noises and I don't get burps.  What I do get is a pressure feeling.  It is faint, but it is there.  I usually just stick to what the dr has told me as far as measurements....but there are times that even that is too much.  YOu just have to listen to your body...and listen closely.  For me it isn't like the full feeling I ever felt prior to surgery.....

Good Luck!

If it is a dense protein that I overeat on, I usually sneeze and sneeze. Sometimes, I just throw up.

In the beginning, I didn't feel full and I would hiccup.  Now, I get that  full sensation, but I am nearly 5 years post-op.

This has been really hard for me too.  I have the hardest time with Indian food because it goes down easy and it comes up easy.  I still eat it though.

I am great with protein and I eat it first.  I try to eat a piece about the size of my hand and stop.  I may pick at some carbs or veggies afterwards but I generally stop.  If there is not much protein or the meal is soft like cheese, I don't feel full.  I also don't feel hungry.  It is like the "feeling" part was removed too.  I don't want the hunger back so I just try to deal with portion size and trust that I have had enough.  I am only throwing up about twice a week now which is much better than at the beginning.

I burp. A lot! I also get a full feeling in my stomach that is more like a pressure. I can go from not feeling it to feeling it in the matter of one bite.
