my first buffet visit...
worked out really well... they charged by the ounce, and my breakfast was only $1.91! I haven't been to an acutal buffet yet, because I'm just not going to pay full price for 1 pass through the line...
Of course the only buffet I've even been tempted by was the Sunday brunch at the Waldorf Astoria a few weeks ago... Everything looked SO good, but at $80 per person, I just COULDN'T do it, even though my few bites might well have been worth the $80.00!
Buffets kill me... I have no choice when it comes to Indian food because it's cheaper to pay the 6.99 and eat off the buffet.. I just feel like I'm no longer getting my money's worth... just need to get over it.
I'm also faced with over eating since my stomach doesnt know when to tell me to shut off unless I eat VERY dense protein. If I eat choley and paneer I could sit there forever and eat :-(
I stay far from buffets. If it's not in front of me, I won't be tempted
After surgery, I can't imagine myself ever going to a buffet again. It would bug me to not be able to eat whatever I wanted. I'd rather go to a place where the people I'm with can have buffet if they want but I could order off the menu.
