I'm back!

Hello everyone...I've been gone for awhile...busy with work, got a promotion, busy with family, a few members ill, some have passed away and just busy with life in general.

Good news, I'm down to 225lbs, yeah a total of 94.5lbs lost in 6 months.  I have my 6 month follow-up with my doctor in a couple of weeks, had my 6 month blood work done, so I'm hoping that everything is in order.  My goal was to have lost 100lbs by then, so I'm hoping that the final 5 1/2lbs will come off.  I've dropped 14 pant and top sizes and I'm just feeling great, loving life that even my crappy knee can't take me down!

I've been so excited to see so many changes occur, not only inches, clothes but also in the things I've been able to do that I couldn't do or had difficulty doing in the past.  So I'm going to list a few...lol

1.  I can sit in my car with my seatbelt on and grab whatever drops on the floor WITHOUT having to undo my belt.

2.  I can reach the glove compartment without taking choking myself with my seatbelt.

3.  I can finally sit in a booth at a restaurant and STILL have about 5 inches of space between my boobs and the table.

4.  I can fit into my gf's pants and tops

5.  I actually have a lap that I can see, balance things on and have the kids sit without having to hold onto them because they would slip off...LOL

6.  Completed a 3 mile Arthritis Walk this past Sunday at Santa Monica, CA in honor of my 9 year old niece who was diagnosed in Feb. with Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

So just a few accomplishments oh and I bought my first strapless bra...loving it!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to all my friends here, I have not forgotten you, think about you all and hope that each and everyone of you are doing well and working each day to reach your goals, whether it be daily, weekly or monthly.

To all you new comers, welcome and hope to hear from you all as you've begun your journey towards better living!

Hugs

~Kristina

That's terriffic!  I'm relatively new here - so hello....

...and way too many people underestimate the simple usefulness of a lap!  I'm hoping to have one one of these days!  Congratulations!

Thanks everyone, it's been an adventure and a good one!  Some of the simple pleasures that people take for granted, laps...most definitely, even my nieces have noticed they can sit on my lap and not slide off...lol

The whole table and boob room...omg that is the best, I can't remember the last time I spilled something on my chest and they no longer rest ON the table...lmao although when I was heavier and crossed my arms, I did have a chin rest...no more of that, I tried it the other day and just about strained the back of my neck and my girlfriend just about fell over laughing!

Nadine...welcome to the forum, hope you will continue to post.

Hugs...

~Kris
