Overate 2 days in a row...
Yesterday I went to PF Changs and ordered the chicken lettuce cup appetizer for dinner and had a few spoonfuls of sugar snap peas as well. It really didn't look like it was a lot, but felt so overfull for about an hour afterwards. Was awful!
Today I had a chicken breast for lunch and a few chuncks of watermelon. Never had a problem with fruit before, but I think eating it with the chicken breast was too much....ow, I'm in pain.
First time I've had chicken breast in months...I don't think I do well with white meat. Back to the thighs for me.
I've managed to avoid overeating for 7 months and now 2 days in a row I botch it. Damn!
Sorry folks, just felt I needed to whine a little.
You probably did NOT overeat in terms of calories...seriously. You should be happy that you have decent restriction because sometimes i feel like i can eat a whole watermelon!!!
Dont beat yourself up too much and pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get on with doing things the way you want to!

I am not sure if you overate either, but forgive yourself and get back on your path of good healthy eating.
We all need to whine every once in a while. WLS is not a cure, it is a tool we all need to use to eat properly.

I'm just going to tack onto this existing thread...
I don't know what it was about yesterday... we had birthday breakfast for the group, and usually I'm good with a few pieces of fruit and back to my desk.
Yesterday...? No such luck. I had half a bagel slathered with butter. Then half a donut. Then the other half of the donut. Then the other half of the bagel. Then a cookie. Then another cookie. Then a couple of mini candy bars. Then some peanuts.
Oh no, I didn't eat anything GOOD yesterday, because I felt like crap from all the junk I ate at the office. THEN I got home and had a somewhat sensible dinner, followed by an Atkins PB cup. I think that sent me over the edge. I felt like **** for the rest of the night...
Today, I'm shooting for "back on track". Breakfast was half a banana and a small corn muffin. Lunch is scheduled to be a garden salad with beets, beans, tomato, turkey and a little bit of cheese. Don't know about dinner, as we are going to a concert tonight, so it will likely be "out" somewhere.
I feel better now that I've put it in writing.
