Gas Pains!
Also, do gas pains affect your back? My back is on FIRE! I can't get comfortable anywhere and I'm too tired to keep walking. Yesterday was way better than today.

Heating pad is a big help! Keep taking your pain meds, when you walk flap your arms like a chicken (helps the gas) and shorter walks will be just fine!! I also let the hot shower pound on my back and that helped! Also not laying down flat helps with the gas!! Day 2,3,4 & 5 for me were tough! It gets better!!

Band removed and feeling alive with energy!
The Gas-X strips helped a great deal with that BURPING feeling. It took about 3-5 days for that to go away.. But, the gas will spread out. If you havent already you'll start to feel it in your shoulders back and neck. Liquid Tylenol helped quite a bit with that. When they sent me home from the hospital though they gave me a script for LORTAB ELIXIR its LIQUID VICADIN I needed that the first few days after surgery just to sleep. If you dont have that Tylenol PM comes in a liquid form ask if you can take that. ( doctor had no problem with it) A good night sleep really seamed to help with the stomach gas I was so uncomfortable I needed the meds just to relax. Also as hard as it is to think about it. WALK LOTS. even if its just to pace around in your house. That will really help break up the gas. Good luck it will pass..
