Closet stalker - coming out !
Hello to all of you in GLTB land -
I have been stalking this forum since before I had my RNY and wanted to finally "come out" and introduce myself. My name is Tisha (my mom forgot to put the r in.... it is really my legal first name...
Tish the Dish is my nickname....so in my true fashion here is the dish on me:
- Stats: 37, single, bi-sexual originally from Madison, WI, now living in PA
- Am a outgoing, creative, Gemini with 3 "four-legged fur-kids" who are very spoiled
- Decided on WLS in Oct 2008, after my wife and I "split" and she left to pursue a career in NY
- The last 7 months have been quite a ride, divorce, Lost my job, realized I had a problem with alcohol and got sober with the help of AA (sobriety date= 10/24/08), quit smoking on 2/24/09 and had RNY on 4/29/09 WHEW
- In other words, I quit drinking, quit smoking, and quit eating all in 6 months! NOW, what do I do?
- grateful to have the support of my mom this month (she had the surgery 3 yrs ago and lost 180lbs) Am 3 weeks out and doing well except that I now BELCH like a sailor all the time since the surgery which offends my "femme sensibilities" Of course my "butch" friends all think this is hilarious!
- Grateful to have this forum - so many of you give me inspiration and I look forward to taking this journey with ya.

Miss it all the time. I grew up on the Northeast side, went to college there and lived downtown during my crazy 20s...then I bought a little house on the East side, fixed all up and then got a job offer good enough to have me place it back on the market 4 months later and move to Pennsylvania...
My family all lives in Madison (or surrounding areas) and I miss them so. As soon as the market returns to a place where I can sell my home here....I will most likely move back.
Rockford, IL - Wow- that brings back good memories from long ago.... I was dating this sexy little lesbian named Victoria who drove a red Miata- FAST and had hips to DIE FOR! HUMMM> thanks for the memory!
My family all lives in Madison (or surrounding areas) and I miss them so. As soon as the market returns to a place where I can sell my home here....I will most likely move back.

- Almost 1 1/2 years out. I bounce between 190 and 200 down from my high.

Though I go by Meg, my real name is Margret . . . not Margaret. My father did not know how to spell it for my birth certificate, so I understand the name explanation.
Stats: 41, involved for 4 years with great woman, lived all over the country (MA, CA, FL) - now in upstate NY.
- Have 4 pets - 1 dog and 3 cats
- Had RNY last September with 130+ lb weight loss.
I am very grateful for this forum. It is a great daily support group.

we married soon after MA laws changed.
we have been together 15 years.
Born an Army Brat.
Been sober 28 yrs. ( July 6, 1980)
3 grown sons, I grandson..he's grown too.

Post Lap Band in '07..it did not work for me.
Having RNY surgery soon..June 2nd.!!
