Date ended quickly

Blind date turned out to be with a chaser. 

I showed up, he was direct that I wasn't fat enough for him to find attractive, we had a quick drink and went our seperate ways.

I'm of mixed feelings about this.

1> Yay!  I'm not fat enough for chasers to find sexy!
2> Damnit, he was hot, and my balls are now a bright shade of sapphire blue.

Argh.

I understand the mixed feelings Sweetie. I think it's going to just take some time for your energy to shift enough to draw those to you who want what you got... at least that's the way I believe it works. Like calls to like... and you aren't quite in that other world solidly as yet... so in some way you are still calling to the chasers. Don't know if this makes sense but I think as soon as you are completely at home in your not-fat enough body (and soul) then others will come... *g*... and so will you.

It's nice to think about where i'll be in a year or so...but it's wierd to think of yourself in an in-between place.  I was secure in my looks when I was fat, with this one particular crowd of guys.  I'd like to think i'll be secure again one day.  But right now, in-between...I'm just not sitting right in my skin.  Feels weird.

Hah!  Much thanks.  I'm doing my best to go out and meet a new, gay social circle...all my friends are straight.  Not making much headway, but we keep trying, don't we?

Ummm... I think I found your problem....

I think if we adjust the top statement.. It might help. Now mind you I'm not saying get RID of the straight friends. There is no such thing as to many friends.. Just add a few gay or crooked ones in.

I'm working on it.  I have a bad track record meeting gay guys, platonically.

At the last two gay events I went to I ended up chatting with a couple guys most of the night, striking up a good conversation and thinking that "wow, finally, some nice gay guys to hang with" only to find out I'd been chatting with the only straight guys in the room all night.

Apparently not only do I not have gaydar, but what little gaydar I have is being jammed by unknown sources.....

I've got good lesbian friends, though.
