EXCITING DAY

TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchase my very first peace of clothing off the rack on sale at a regular store. After so many years of spending WAY toooooooooooo much money at the Casual Male where a t-shirt causts 40.00 I bought a 10.00 shirt at WALMART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WALMART can you believe WALMART.. More exciting the the price of the t-shirt was the fact that I actually was able to FIT into something right off their shelf.

It is amazing how good it feels.  I need to go shopping this weekend for some summer t-shirts and hopefully i have crossed over solidly into the XL realm!

I know it sounds really trivial.. But, honestly I have NEVER been able to purchase ANYTHING off the rack and ON SALE at a NORMAL STORE before. But, I made up my mind last year that the Casual Male was going to get NON of my money anymore and they aren't

It is totally not trivial.  I have never been able to buy anything off a rack, let alone a sale rack at a normal store either.  I actually shopped at Sears, Bass Pro Outlet and Kohl's tonight!  Totally amazing to be able to choose what I like, not just what fits!  

Hooray! I know exactly what you mean. This is an accomplishment - a true watershed moment. ...I got a catalog in the mail this week with really nice clothes. Not one would fit me. By this time next year? LOOK OUT!

Oh I know the feeling handsome!  i can now buy a whole new wardrobe for what it used to cost me at casual male for 3 pairs of pants LOL

You know what's really going to flip your lid is not only can you buy clothes there.......soon you won't have to get the largest sizes they carry!!!!!!!  now that is truly exciting :)

OMG, I feel your excitement.  I remember when I bought my first shirt and jeans at a regular store. Oh, I remember how excited I was to actually buy zipper pants.  AFter years of stretch pants, I finally was able to buy jeans with a zipper and no elastic.  I have been buying regular clothes for over a year and I will never take it forgranted.  I still start out in the plus size and try the smallest size on before going, sheepishly, to the regular size. I'm always afraid they won't fit, but they do.  I must say, my ass has never looked so good in a pair of jeans as it does in regular jeans.  Oh, wait until you get into the sexy undies.  I thought I was going to die when I could wear panties that were cute and small.
