Alfonso,
Try using www.fitday.com to log all of your food. It's a pain to use at first, once you have to enter you food info the first time. It logs everything for you and it's free. I was around 1200-1500 cals a day at six monts. I am at around 1500-1800 cals a day now. I have hit my goal weight...And holding
My suggestion to you is to go see your nutritionist and get their recommendation beyond no more nuts and cheese. It's too easy to graze on nuts IMO.
You should be seeing your nutritionist on a regular basis anyways... it's odd they didn't catch this behavior when you first started it.
What I'm really doing is measuring (most of the time) 3/4 cup of food, cutting back to 1/2 when I'm close to my weight limit, allowing myself some of the foods on the no list like nuts but cutting them out if I gain. I have added a protein shake once a day because I was feeling completely run down and starving between breakfast and lunch. That has helped. And I eat 90-95% protein in my meals. The other 5-10% are carbs and fats. So far, I'm maintaining within 1 pound on either side of my goal weight.
But seriously, that's my program. To be successful physically and mentally, you need to stick with your program and I'd say go back to your nut and find out how many calories you should be eating to get to your goal and then be very accurate.
Good luck!

That is the only thing I can think of as to why you shouldn't eat too much of it. You can gain. I guess.
Ok so I have the same program as Raven.. But I DO count calories, and that way I don't have to measure everything. I still weigh my protein to make sure it is no more than 4 oz. I am still trying to lose 20 pounds so I eat 600- 900 calories a day, with strict instructions to start eating 1200 calories once I hit goal.
I eat 90-95% protein with breakfast being 25 gram protein shake. Then dense proteins for lunch and dinner. I basically eat a half of a chicken breast for both meals in various forms. I stay away from carbs (they are the devil in food form) and I pay close attention to fat because they make me dump....
I have a WONDERFUL life saving application on my crackberry that I input my food in. This is another reason I don't measure as much. As soon as something hits my lips and sometimes before I log it in my blackberry. The program also keeps track of my excercise and I wear a heart rate moniter during all my work outs so I know exactly how much I'm burning. So to add to my 600-900 calories I am burning 600-900 calories while working out 4-5 days a week..
Like Raven said, that's my program... Good luck!!
