4 day post op - olfactory System Enhanced ?!?!?!

I'm on the 4 day post op... And I noticed something bizarre... My olfactory system is enhanced or more accute... I can sense even the faintest smell. I always had a good sense of smell, but this is very strange. Anybody had these symptoms on the first days? Is this connected with my nauseous? Causing it? Or just a symptom? Because since the RNY surgery, I been taking several doses of Plasil.

Did anybody keep hearing sounds from the stomach? It’s very nerving, since a celebrity here on Brazil had a very serious setback on his surgery. He drank a lot of peach juice and got his pouch screw.

My stomach definitely makes many new noises now.  It is gurgling as a type. 

My pouchie can be very noisy at times. Perfectly normal. Trust me everything in your body is going to change, including your sense of smell. Just wait a few more days when the loose testerone kicks in, you'll be super horny for the next few months during the rapid weight loss phase. Enjoy it!!!!!!!
As far as the peach juice is concerned, I would think that contains alot of sugar and that would definitely cause problems. 

My new tiny tummy has become a loud and alien creature, where my once quite big tummy was.

Lots of people on the VSG forum say they have had a temporary enhanced sense of smell......most say it lessened over time.

the funny part is when both stomachs start talking.   (old one and new pouch)
my intestines talk to me too

as far as smells... yeah.... colognes (all 200+ of them all smell different)
and tastes... yep.... things taste very different post op.

I always say my 'tummy' sounds like it's burping from the inside LOL! All these sounds come from the neck/chest area and sometimes it's loud!!!

The only thing that has changed for me about smells is ...I hate certain smells now.
