OT: Am I a loser?
Well, from the grandfather here... Enjoy those twenties....have fun in those thirties...cause when you hit the forties..life gets dull.
I am so alive...so awake...and so energized.. I look at the clock on Friday night...and say, oh Midnight...time to go out!!! But, at my age..people are already in bed. Seems like I want to live the life of a 25 year old..now that I have the body (almost) of one!!!
And Greggggggg...where are your photos!!!????

Be yourself, nobody can tell you that you are doing it wrong!!
I was terrified at turning 30. Now that I'm in my mid-thirties, I'm having the time of my life. I'm healthier than ever, and it helps that I look younger than my age (this is what others say.)
So, yes, the 30's have been fabulous, at least for me. And I'm hoping that my forties, fifties and whatever else will be just as good.
I have some frends in Minneapolis, all straight, though. I used to go to college outside of the cities in Collegeville, then when I worked for Northwest Airlines, I was in the twin cities quite a bit. Great area with no shortage of things to do. So just put yourself out there and see what happens. Take an afternoon stroll around Lake Calhoun (in the summer, there are more than a few gorgeous midwestern hotties to gaze at.) Cruise the streets of Uptown or get a bite to eat at any of the great restaurants there (the best Thai I ever had was in Uptown.) Visit the sculpture garden near Lowry Hill and see who you run into (I love the spoon and cherry.) I mean, if I managed to have a good enough time in a city like Huntsville, Alabama, you should have no problem in an area like Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
Minneapolis is a great town. Take advantage of it. It amazes me how, wherever we live, we think it's boring or unsatisfying. I never loved Norfol****il we moved away. I was even bored in Honolulu until we left. There's so much I wish I had done. So, here in the Philippines, I do all I can. Get on out there and do the same.
Cheers,
Chris

Definitely you are not a loser. Just a lot anxious!!! Life can be great on thirties... I you are healthy, because, if you aren't you are F* on the wrong way.
On 20's we are all about quantities, on 30's you will value more quality.
This weekend, I (37yo) spent all the time with my love (32 yo). I'm recovering from RNY (5 days). It was a simple weekend, but so fulfilling.... You need to get in love, start a relationship and make work. Its not easy, demands sacrifices, but is worthy. Trust me. Even the lamest weekend would sound like a bliss.
Its not a solution, just a suggestion. And I realize that's not a easy thing to do right now. But, think about it on the years to come. They are worth living for.
