Don's Newest article
Hi folks -
My latest WLS article is in the newest issue of Mom...Guess What magazine. This time I try and tackle the way I felt as a fat man trying to find a place in the gay community before and after my weight loss surgery.

As always, I'm on page 27. They give me my own page...yay!
As always, my prior articles can be found in past issues, too. I hope you all enjoy!

Don, I enjoyed your last article so I will go and read this one too.
I sometimes feel that by having WLS and PS that it makes me "queer" in the lesbian community which (at least here) is sort of a natural, crunchy granola sort of group.....earth mothers and vegans and all. I myself am into organic and nature too BUT I eat meat and need to since my surgery. I went to a potluck a few months ago and realized I was the only skinny one there....I have had more than one potential date curl up her lip and say "I never eat red meat". I use it as sort of a tolerance test now....people who jump to conclusions, maybe aren't the best choice for me.
I don't know if any other folks have had this experience or not ..............
