stomach pain

I am 6 months out and Tonight I have gotten really bad stomach pain. It is almost had me doubled over. The pain feels like it is at the top of my stomach. I had the pain about 30 minutes ago and it lasted about 3-4 minutes and it was gone and now its back. the only thing I have done different today was about an hour and half ago I ate a small bite of a pepper from a veggie tray and I took some cough syrup with codeine in it. Has any one else had this happen? Any thoughts?

My guess it was the cough syrup. Same thing happened to me when I took liquid NyQuil. I think it was dumping syndrome.

Are you coughing alot, thus the cough syrup?  Could it be a hernia?
