Boys Vs. Girls

Ok, this is just out of idle curiosity and I know everyone is different so this is more for s&g than anything. I know guys typically drop weight faster than women. I'm curious to kind of poll everyone post surgery and see how much the guys average after say 6 months and the girls average at the same amount of time.

Again, just curious.

At 6 months I was down 72 lbs. from the start of my 2 week liquid diet.

I don't remember exactly but the majority of my weight was off in the first 6 months.

I Have lost about 130 pounds in six months with my two week pre-op diet.

I lost about 100 lbs in the first 6 months.

It was such a long time ago and I don't remember a lot of what happened last week...  But I think that I lost around 120 my first six months.  Before surgery, I lost 50, so over the second six months I lost 65.  Then I stopped.  (I was at 145 by then and didn't want to get any lower.)

So 120.  There ya go.

Hi I am five weeks out and I am down 46lbs is that too fast?

Hey, gorgeous!  Don't you worry about it - everybody loses at different rates.  There IS no too slow or too fast.  46 is 5 weeks is fantastic!  Be proud of your great work and keep it up!

I think I had lost somewhere around 40 lbs in the first five weeks.  Enjoy!
