This is pretty awesome.

I was over on the Michigan board this morning and saw a posting about how BCBS of Michigan recently changed their WLS surgery guidelines.  They are now treating it like any other surgical procedure and no pre-approval is necessary.  it's nice to see health insurance companies becoming progressive and proactive when it comes to obesity and WLS.
