Good experience at DMV today

So, I had to go to the DMV today and renew my driver's license. When the clerk began updating my info she said, "Wow, you look so different and you are definitly not the same weight." I had to chuckle. That hadn't even ran across my mind. I was 270 on the old license and am 194 today. Anyway, that felt pretty good if I must say. It's not often the folks working at the DMV are pleasant and make your day. -- Tom

That's great, Tom! The difference in you must be amazing for the DMV lady to break the bubble and speak up. Affirmation comes from the strangest places sometimes.  You earned it!

I hope the jerks at the CT DMV are as sweet to me when I go in. I was 350 when I got mine done. WOO HOO One more year! Anyway What a great day you had!

I need to do something about my license picture. I took that pic 140 pounds ago!! Any time I've had to show it - club, buying cigs for someone, and when I got pulled over - they've all taken a few moments to look at it. I had 3 FRIGGEN CHINS!!!! 

You should ad this to your "wow moment" list for sure! 

A WOW moment list - great idea.  It would be really helpful when the inevitable off-trac****urs, I bet.

It was a WOW moment weekend for sure. On Saturday morning I looked at the license and realized that I was carrying something that had my weight on it and I wasn't embarrassed! It was neat to read it and be happy about it.

On Saturday night, we went to a Race for the Cure silent auction, I decided I was having a mixed drink for the first time in a long time. I ordered a Rum and Coke and then changed it to a Rum and Diet Coke. I told the bartender I better save the calories for the food they were serving. She told me, "You certainly don't need to be watching the calories." That was goo to hear.

So,  sunny, hot weekend and good times for me.

I am having a nice WOW weekend too.  We went car shopping all day  yesterday and then to the mall.  I wasn't totally beat.  Decided to stay with the current car but still fun.  Today, we went to watch a rubber ducky race on Cascadilla Falls - walked all over town - at least an hour and I still have the energy to go rake.  And, the nice warm, sunny weather is invigorating.
