Holy Crap! Only 39 more days!

Hello All!

I hope everyone is doing well... I know I tend not to post, but trust me, I LOVE reading all the discussion topics. It's very encouraging! I've been so bogged down with work - NOT FUN!

Well, I received my 'date' today! June 1st it is! Holy Crap is all I could say and think!

I am getting the LapBand and was wondering how many days did you take off of work? I am a school teacher and June 1st falls on a Monday and was wondering if I really needed the WHOLE week off or not. I know EVERYONE is different, but I just wanted to hear some of your answers.

I'm sooo excited.. and yeah I'm freaking out. But it is going to be AMAZING!

Hey it must be going around! I got my date yesterday. I'm having RNY though so I'll be out for 6 weeks. I've been telling everyone my guts are getting a make over LOL

Congratulations on getting your date for surgery! That's SO exciting! I took a whole week off work to recover and I was glad I did. I had a lot of gas and would have been very self conscious dealing with that sort of problem in front of my co-workers. My best advice for you after suregry is to WALK, WALK, WALK!!!
