OK. WEEK 2 IN MY CLASS WAS TODAY. WALKED IN. SET MY THINGS DOWN AND LINED UP TO WEIGH MYSELF. STEPPED ON THE SCALE. CURRENT WIEGHT 407. WHOO HOO DOWN 5 POUNDS SINCE LAST TUESDAY. ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR ME. YAY. SO THIS WEEK WAS NOT EASY. THE FIRST 2 OR 3 DAYS WERE GOOD. THEN THE HUNGER STARTED TO SET IN. LOL I MAINTAINED MY EATING PRETTY MUCH THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AND I STARTED WALKING. I WALKED MY FIRST MILE THIS WEEK! THAT WAS ANOTHER ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR ME. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG IT HAS BEEN SINCE I WALKED A FULL MILE AT ONE TIME. SO I AT LEAST HAVE THAT GOING FOR ME. HMM EASTER WAS A GOOD DAY FOR ME CUZ I DECIDED TO EAT WHATEVER I WANT. LOL THEN I FELT SUPER GULITY AFTER. BUT I DECIDED THAT I CANT COMPLETLY DEPRIVE MYSELF OF EVERYTHING RIGHT FROM THE START. AND THAT I WOULD GRADUALLY WORK MYSELF DOWN FROM MY IMPULSIVE CRAVINGS. OVER ALL I HAD A GOOD WEEK. AND AM GLAD TO BE DOWN THOSE 5 POUNDS! WELL YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HEAR FROM ME IN ANOTHER WEEK TO SEE MY PROGESS. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT SO FAR EVERYONE! TILL NEXT TUESDAY!! :)

Congratulations Priscilla! That is an amazing accomplishment and you should be proud of you. It's also great that you are not just doing the work on the outside but you are really thinking about this and what it means to you. That is going to go a long way toward your ultimate and ongoing success.

Yeah, those impulsive cravings are demons to battle. I'm 1.5 pounds from my goal, 7 months after surgery and still, every day, it's a battle but it's one that can be consistently won. Keep up  the good work!

Congrats to you! I just was able to walk a mile recently so I can totally understand your sense of accomplishment there. Have a great week.

Congratulations Cilla...way to go with the 5lbs and walking a whole mile....don't be too hard on yourself about Easter or the food cravings, it takes time and more importantly it's learning what are your triggers and getting down to the root of why you eat.

I'm so proud of you and can't wait to hear about your next week's meeting.

Love you...Kristina

Doing great! I didn't lose 5 pounds in a week until like 4 months into the program. The nutritionist and I were on different pages.
