Hey all!  i go in for my first lymphatic drainage session at the specialist at 9 am today!  I hope this is the answer to my relief.  I'm also on death watch.  I have a suitcase packed and in the trunk of my car.  My grandfather developed pneumonia and the doctors told the family that this is probably it for him.  I did all my crying yesterday when mom told me so now it's time to be strong.

much love to you all!

I am sending prayers and positive thoughts your way Aaron!  *hugs*  Sorry to hear about your grandfather.  I lost mine a year ago on APril 17th after years of failing health and many times of being on "death watch".  I still struggle with it from time to time....so if you need to talk...

I hope your medical treatment does give you relief!  I know you have been dealing with this for a while and any sign of relief would be a burden off your mind.  Take care of you!!!

Hope this helps. Ya scared the crap outta me with the death watch. I thought it was for you (doctors thinking you were going to kill yourself) and not your grandfather. If you do have to go now (cause it will happen sometime since we all die) be safe hun, we all love and care about you.

well i went to the drain lady today.....and basically this was our first meeting and all she did was an assessment......she said that I was borderline stage 2/stage 3 lymphedema (stage 3 is elephantiasis) and she seems to think she can help me out through massaging the fluid back into my body (so I can pee it out) and then with moisturizing and exercising and compression, we can beat it.  However, my first real treatment from her doesn't happen until next monday.  in the meantime, I see my primary doctor tomorrow so he can continue my antibiotics and give me pain meds!!!!!!!  he's not going to be happy at how these people are dragging their feet.
