Happy Easter.....

...to those who celebrate it. My daughter has been up since 6am and we've already done the egg hunt. It's 9:30am LOL!!!

Happy Easter to you and all too!!  Our family Easter Egg hunt begins today in Petaluma at 1:00.  My Great neices and nephew are already calling us to hurry up and get there and right now it is only 7:20 am.

Happy Easter! My son has been bugging me all morning! We are having a late lunch and egg hunt at my moms house around 4 this afternoon and he is being sooooooo impatient! LOL.. thats kids for ya!

It was another disappointing meaning-in-holiday change for me.  First Halloween.  No costumes.  No candy.  No parties.  No tricks or treats (that one I miss the most.)  Instead, you spend the night with your dead loved ones at their graves.  Party time!  Woo-hoo!

Then Easter.  Nobody here knew what the hell I was talking about when I asked where my basket was.  No bunnies.  No colored eggs.  No pastel chiffon dresses (I left mine in the states...  J/k)  Just going to church with a bunch of people who you last saw at Midnight Mass (Christmas)  then running to get that last pavilion at the beach.

What's next?  The Fourth of July?  No fireworks?  No hot dogs?  No drunken Aunt Lisa?  If they don't make a big deal about the independence of the US in this, a whole other country, I'll be pissed!

Yes, I do have an Aunt Lisa.  She can totally out drink me!  She could also probably kick my ass if she wanted to.  If not her, her partner probably could.  They are two of the coolest dykes I know.
