Am I the only one here???

Unfortunately, I'm at work and bored out of my mind...I'm off in 8 mins....What are everyone's plans for Easter? I'm going to my Mom's house and we are cooking dinner for about 20 people.  This is the first holiday since my dad passed last month, so it's going to be different not seeing him at the head of the table. We are going to be surrounded by friends and family which always makes the cir****tances better.I hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy Easter!

 I am doing laundry and procrastinating on things like finishing the taxes, doing paperwork for work, or maybe taking a nap.

Tomorrow I get to make good on my pledge to be more active. So we are going to a family nerf war/ Easter celebration/ Matthew's birthday. So we will be outdoors in a picnic shelter and playing in the rain instead of the usual indoor sedentary stuff. I am anticipating being COLD! and not happy about that. Need to take a cheerful pill by tomorrow!

I'm doing the whole Mom/family thing! Cleaning, cooking, coloring eggs ...

I don't come on here as much anymore. Most of us have connected on Facebook! Have a great Easter and weekend.

I agree with you...I really enjoy talking to everyone here. I joined FB years ago but very rarely use it. It seems to be getting very popular now.

No threads have been moved.  We discuss things back and forth through our profiles and have stay connected that way. That is why you don't see some of the regulars in here anymore.

I am having brunch with my partner's family and then taxes and work . . .  It will be my partner's first easter without her mother.  She died last May.  They were very close.  Each of the holidays have been hard.

Seems like weekends are always a bit slower on this forum.

I get to go to the hubby's family and endure (Did I say that?) yet another holiday with his family. I hate holidays.
