3 for Friday!

Hello folks....it's time to count the blessings.... Happy Good Friday to those to celebrate.

1) 25 days to surgery.

2) being brave and "coming out" about surgery to a fat activist friend

3) it's Friday!!!

1. its going to be 70 today!

2. Greg and I are both off going to spend the day together.

3. ITS FRIDAY!!

I am a grateful girl today...

1 ~ That my dumping seems to be getting worse. At first I could eat some sugar with no problem and now even a moderate amount is making me sicker than a dog. I am grateful that this tool that I thought was lost to me is now availble to me. NO MORE sugar!

2 ~ That's it's Friday and I can sleep in tomorrow. Didn't get in until after midnight, bed at 1 a.m. and up at 5 a.m. when Z got an IT call. Wish I could do caffeine.

3 ~ Music... my Pandora... keeps me sane and makes me get up and dance during the day (it's okay I work from home in the mornings... LOL).

I didn't know that dumping could strengthen over time!   Yay!  I'm hoping this happens to me.  Even after my gall bladder removal, neither sugar nor fats seem to cause me any problems....

Maybe there's hope for all us non-dumpers!

I had mentioned my tolerance to our program nurse. When I first tested it, I only got a very mild queasy feeling, certainly not enough to deter me from sweets. She told me that it can change at any time. There are still times when it doesn't seem to affect me much and other times, like last night I was really sick, like tossing in the ladies room. I had eaten about five bites of a wonderful orange and lavender honey creme brule. I was severely nauseated for about an hour after. Yeah, don't want to go there again. My tolerance for sugar has been diminishing and even somtimes for the SF stuff... I had gotten a box of See's sugar free chocolate peanut clusters (yeah, I know, still not supposed to) and even after eating one, I feel queasy and bloated. But masochist that I am, I keep trying to push the envelope. Not sure why I'm doing it. :( 

1> Was stressing about how much money my personal trainer was costing me last night, but woke up this morning feeling okay about it.

2> Ran into someone who hasn't seen me since my surgery.  She couldn't take her eyes off of me and kept telling me how handsome I was!  Like 3 times over the course of the evening.  Though I never believe people when they say that, I actually believed it from her - felt nice.

3> Legs have finally stopped hurting from my workout on Monday, though my chest is now hurting from my workout from yesterday.  Totally dealable, though!

Thepian: Hun, you are a hottie. Totally the type of guy I would go for. Well, except for the gay part. LOL

1) I get to spend today with the hubby.

2) My nephew turns 5 today.

3) All the wonderful friends I have here.

1.  I went to bed with a lot of knee pain and woke up very late today but with less pain...yah!

2.  That it's Friday, the close of another long week and welcoming the Sabbath!

3.  Looking forward to Church tomorrow and the wonderful Easter program, just grateful for the Lord and all he's done and blessed me with!

It's funny.  A friend of mine at work (a straight woman) just realized I'm gay (I'm out, but I guess I'm very straight acting, people never seem to assume).  Suddenly she and two other women I work with are telling me they always considered me "husband material".

Seems like life would be easier straight, sometimes...!

LOL I just meant my type physically. Ok so you are funny too and I like that. Heck, you seem to be an all around nice guy.
