Go, Tarheels!
Just had to say that. Not that I'm a big UNC fan, I'm a Virginia Wahoo, but secondarily I am a big ACC fan. Ha, the Big East and all of their talk. At least the SEC lived up to their expectations... (Hehehe. A lot of my old friends in Alabama would hate me for that one..)
Now, I can only hope that Louisville takes destiny away from UConn in the women's game, although the Huskies look unbeatable. Not that I even care about Louisville, but I have a lot of friends (April...) who are UConn fans and I just wish they'd shut up. (Hehehe.) I also hope that Virgina can regain prominence in the women's sport that they had in the nineties, especially since their men's team has been, well, ****ty as of late.
You gain much more of an appreciation for the internet and satellites when you move abroad. LIke the Superbowl, though, I'm having to get used to watching big games in the morning. (9 pm CST is 10 am the next day here.) It's weird turning down that bottle of beer and a bowl of pretzels, substituting them with a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal while watching.

Nice to hear from you Chris, even though I don't know nuthin about no sports.
Now where did I put my nail polish. hehehe
Just kidding... I am big Raider's fan as well as Warriors (some of the players live in our building) which is kinda hot.

I love basketball, American football (you get used to saying that outside of the US) and ice hockey. My alma mater, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, had a great hockey team, winning the NCAA championship a few times.
We were stationed at Alameda NAS in the late 70's. That's where my dad developed his love for the Raiders, although the past few years haven't been good to him.
My sister lives in the area, Suisun City. It's a beautiful place; when it's not on fire.
