The Start of week one...
sooooooooo. Tomorrow morning at 9 am I start my WLS classes! Im super excited and also very nervous. I don't want to see my weight in numbers, I like to just tell myself that i weigh alot. lol Scary. lol Well this is an adventure for me and I hope to have you all as friends along the way! I will be posting a weekly blog about my journey and weight loss per week. I hope you all have many days of good health and good fortune. Let's do this together! Add me i'm always looking for friends!
I am very excited for you. There are some things I wish I had done or done more of along the way which I will share with you.
First, take lots of pictures. Take them standing in a doorway. (You change size but the doorway doesn't). I know you may not like pics of you right now but there will come a time when they will be very valuable in judging your progress. And write the dates and weights on the pictures and wear a little or as tight of clothing as you can. This is not about where you are... you can take the pictures and then just file them and not look at them. But this is about where you are going and your journey. I wish I had taken more pictures along the way.
Write about your feelings about your journey. Journal every day. This gives you the chance to see that there are ups and downs. It's not an easy path but the success is worth it.
Make a bucket list. This is a list of all that you want to do, that you will be able to do as you lose the weight. Try to find 100 things and then cross them off as they happen... as you make them happen.
Stay in touch with people during the good times as well as the bad and stay completely honest.
I know you'll do fantastic. Can't wait to watch!

So how did the class go for you this morning? I'm so proud of you and just like Raven was saying, take lots and lots of pictures in clothes that are form fitting, it's much easier to see the changes if you wear form fitting clothes, or even the same outfit as you move forward. I didn't do that initially, but have started to take more pictures.
Keep your eyes and thoughts forward, know that you have made a positive choice for YOU, keep in touch, post, write, express yourself during the good and the bad days and know that you are loved and will be supported all along your journey! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear all about it.

Hey cousin first of all you know that all my clothes are tight! Thats how sexy mama's do it! lol Week one was great. I am pumped. I met lots of great people who are in the same situation as me. And i am confident that i am going to do great. And christy told me that every 20 pounds i lose she will buy me a present! so im excited. lol We gotta get together for dinner. Its been so long and i want t see the new you! hehe It will give me even more inspiration
