How do you move your body?
We all know that being active is important to losing weight, keeping it off and for general good health.
I was a bad WLSer. I didn't exercise regularly for the first year post-op. Sure, sometimes I walked, sometimes I popped in an exercise video, but I never did anything consistantly. Then me and my wife joined a gym. So now, for about 8 months I have exercising regularly. This is what I do 3-4 days a week:
1. 40 minutes of cardio on the Total Body Cross Ramp (similiar to elliptical)
2. Weight training using a combination of dumbbells and machines.
3. I just started some ab work using a stability ball
I also want to start riding my bike. I just bought a new bike seat and as soon as the rain stops, I can start logging some mileage.
So, what do you do to be active?

I was going to ask this question too...I'm curious to see what others are doing and how it has helped them succeed with weight loss. My routine is as follows:
Sunday - 90-minute spinning class, 90 to 60 minutes ice skating
Monday - 25 minutes weight lifting, 60 minutes cardio
Tuesday - 25 minutes cardio warm-up, 45-minute spinning class
Wednesday - day off
Thursday - 25 minutes weight lifting, 45-minute spinning class
Friday - 60 minute cardio
Saturday - 25 minutes weight lifting, 60 minutes cardio, 2 hours ice skating
My cardio consists of two 30 minute workouts on two different pieces of equipment that include treadmill, elliptical, two types of stationary bikes, and a rowing machine.
As soon as the weather is better my Saturday mornings will be replaced with 5 to 8 mile hikes and 2 hours ice skating in the afternoon.
