I often wonder if everyone's personality changes after massive weight loss. I don't think that my personality necessarily changed, but I do find that I am less intimidated by others.

What about you? What changes have you noticed?

I am less defensive... I don't always feel like I have to be right. I'm more comfortable being silent... yeah, believe it or not LOL... I'm not as whiney and complaining.

I have been told I'm much more pleasant to be around because I seem happier. I would surmise that is because I am!

You know, that's a good observation. I think I'm a little less defensive also. I don't know about being silent, though. I think I voice my opinion more.

Yup, it's a secret talent that I have. It's not really *****y just me standing up for myself. Because of my sweet self, it's considered *****y. When the need arises I can go to ***** in 3.5 seconds.

My mouth runs away with itself now, I stand up for myself now and I don't take no crap no how no way, LOL!!!!

In fact I was just telling my doc this at my appointment today and he said, if people are stupid then they deserve to be told, I agree. But before surgery I was quiet and I didn't rock the boat and I kept it all inside.

I think I really like the new me!
