POST OP ROUX-Y and LASIK EYE SURGERY

So about 3 yrs ago I was on my way to get Lasik surgery but becuase of my weight my doctor wanted me to get checked for diebetis.. and then I found that I was type II and so I couldn't have the surgery. Now I am post op roux&y for 4 months now and I haven't been diabetic or taking any diabetic meds for 3 months.

I have an appointment with a Lasik Dr. in a few weeks.. just wondering if anyone has had Lasik surgery from a similar scenario..

I do no have diabeties..but I did have the lasix..this is a reat question..if no one answers..please let us know what the doc says..

so went to Dr. Newmans Office in Sacramento for my Lasik evaluaiton. Everything came out great I have a surgery date for 05/30/09.

Can't wait to be able to wake up and not have to reach for my glasses..  I was told that many gastric bypass patients have had the Lasik procedure done at this location..

I'll keep you up dated after my procedure.
