Cold & Flu meds

Hi guys -

Sorry I haven't been around - work's eating my life.

Quick question for everyone: I'm fighting a cold and feeling way under the weather.  Anyone know if we can still take Dayquil and Nyquil?  

If not, can anyone recommend any OK cold and flu meds for me to take?

This is my first time taking meds after the surgery, so I want to be careful about it.

I was told I could take it BUT I strongly recommend not getting the liquid crap. OMG, I thought I was going to die. Major dumping. My tummy was not happy and neither was I. I had no problems swallowing the gel tablets.

By sheer coincidence, that's what I've got in my medicine cabinet.  Thanks for the warning!

man it's funny..I was jus the opposite..any pill or gell caps were ineffective, the liquid was the only thing that worked...

now I do not get the type of dumping..and I think I was too miserable to notice the other kind of dumping.. (giggle)

I'm the same as Go to Man.. The capsules get processed before doing anything and the liquid works just fine...
