A little sanity amongst drama
Good Tuesday morning to EVERYONE!!!!!
Today I am feeling better than a couple of days ago. yesterday was insane, but it all worked out. And even though yesterday was so crazy it was the FIRST day that I actually got all my meals and snacks in!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy!!!! Now I just have to work on the liquid part in between everything.
However, I also go notice from my short term disability yesterday they want me to return to work tomorrow. So I've got all my calls placed to try and get that changed to next tuesday. UPDATE: they called while I was writting this note....i've been extended so no worries! :)
And I weighed this morning again (as I do every morning). My total for the week is 14.8 pounds since last wed morning. I haven't lost this much weight in the past 9 years!!!!!
Thank you everyone for your support. :) It's actually happening! The weight is actually starting to come off!!!!!! I'm down even further on my insulin pump. Prior to surgery I was on two insulins equaling 400-500 units per day just to keep me out of the 300-400s. Now I'm on a total with one insulin of 48 units per 24 hours!!!!!!!! This is just week 2 after surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Life is GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS....does anyone know how to fix my little weight tracker thing to actually show????? I pasted the html code, but it just doesn't work. Any advice?
Hello Rae,
Congratulations on your weight loss, it's such a great feeling and especially having your dosage of insulin drop. I was never on insulin just oral meds and am completely off my meds now...yeah!! Life IS good!!
As for your weight tracker, if you go to tickerfactory, where you created it, you have to copy and paste the actual graphic ticker not the code and place it in your signature section. It took me a while to figure it out...hope that helps!
Have a great day!

May I put a caveat in here for you. While weighing every day is nice and if you can handle a day where you don't lose it's great. I'm concerned about what will happen the day you do not lose. Are you going to be upset etc.
I used to weigh daily but had to move to weekly because when I wouldn't lose I would get way upset. ANd if I retained salt I would swell up and gain.
