1 Year today...

So I have noticed that people have posted a little tid bit or two on their 1 year anniversary.. Well I feel I am usually full of hot air, and post every time I buy a new pair of underwear... So short and sweet it is..

It has been one year today.. My highest was 300 I was 240 on surgery day, and am now 139...

Holy cow.. How did this happen? Well we all know how. I did it to be able to keep up with my son, and now I run circles around him.. He is lucky if he can keep up with me.

The best thing I ever did was my son, the second was my partner, and the best thing I ever did for myself.. Was choose life with RNY.

You know...I actually just (like 30 mins ago) printed out all of my blogs/posts regarding my surgery. I had one from day one too!! I've been sitting here reading them and thinking how amazing this has been - yes, even through the ups and downs! I'm going to put these all in a folder and make a "diary" of some sort!

A lot of people do a little "where I've been and where I'm going..." I just talk a lot so I tried to keep mine short..

And talk about inspirational! Look how far you've come already lady! Great job.

 Thank you for posting your success story!  I need to read inspirational posts like yours  because I'm feeling frustrated right now.  I tried to hard to have my band schedule during spring break so it would be really easy for my partner to be with me (she's a teacher), but my sleep study results didn't get completed in time.  So, I may have to wait until early June.  We live on the Big Island and the surgery will take place on Oahu, so it's not like it's a drive across town.   Anyway, you look amazing!  Congratulations on your health and all the new underwear!
