Well, the time is getting close for me to start thinking of plastic surgery. I'm going to need a Full LBL and a inner Thigh Lift.. I tried and tried and and the skin still there, infact getting worse!!!

any ideas how much money this is going to cost me.

by the way my current weight is 178 :)

You are 27, why not give your body about a year or so at its current weight to see how it will naturally handle the skin that is there. I know that at 37 my tummy, arms, and legs are tightening up considerably on their own.

That's just my two cents, you do you.

I already some plastics done - panniculectomy. I'm sure you don't want to hear this (lol) but my "apron" of skin was so droopy it covered my "happy place" and that was just gross to me so I had that removed - 4lbs. of skin gone. My insurance covered that and only that. She did give me a quote for a mini tummy tuck and it was like $5,000 so I can only imagine the cost for everything!!

But good luck!!

Jerry, if I'm reading correctly, you just had your surgery 6 months ago?  My surgeon has suggested that I wait a full 2 years from my surgery before entertaining the thought of plastic surgery.  He has said that I have 2 things going for me, 1) I'm male, and 2) I'm young.  You're 10 years younger than me... so I would assume you'd be in even a better place.

I know that my droopy skin is really bothersome to me, but I'm willing to give it time to tighten up.  Mostly because I'm a giant WIMP when it comes to pain, and the tales of plastic surgery sound even worse than the RNY...

I would say hit the gym, drink tons of water, and give it some time.  I had mine done in July, and I can already see a difference in my arms.  Working out to fill them up with more muscle coupled with the fact that the skin IS tightening up...

I know I should wait, however with  my weight loss I'm 6.3 I want it done. I will wait six more month ofcourse but I def not going to wait 2 years.

Jerry.. If you ru**** you will waste the money. My surgeon said one year from goal.. A) the skin will replenish some AND B) If you do it to early then you will have to do it again because your skin won't be in a natural "resting" place yet.

really.. wait a little while longer.
I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

I will definitely wait until your weight has stabilized for at least 6 months.  I'm scheduled for an LBL on October 8 (yay me!), at which time I will be 26 months postop.  I've been at a steady weight for about 6 months now.

You are young...you may not need it.  See where you are in 6 months.  Most surgeons want you to wait that long anyway.

My LBL will run me a total of about $20,000 here in NJ.  You may be higher in CA.
