impressed

I admit that I have become an obesityhelp lurker.  I generally don't post anymore..because when I find the inspiration and motivation...it often because I am sad, down or depressed. Needless to say, nobody needs a downer around.  However, I have to say that as one who has been on the boards for over three years... I am always impressed with the candid discussions, the amazing photographs, and the incredible support you give one another.  I know that there have been some wonderful friendships (and more) developed through these forums...and I think that it is wonderful.   I want to thank you all for caring for one another, supporting one another, and loving one another as you do....it gives one hope to believe that there truly are caring people in this world.
You all deserve a round of applause for your love and caring natures!!!!

I don't even visit other parts of OH anymore! This one is the BEST!! I rarely even post in the MA board. And posted once in the plastic surgery board and people were just *****y - like who the hell was I to post in their board *pfft*

Everyone here is so helpful, friendly, caring, and honest!

Nice to see you around sweetie.  Don't stop yourself from posting.  You know we are all here for each other.

Great post Daniel! And we want you around even if you are down. We will be with you in your journey even when you are down or depressed. That's why we are here.

And as a therapist myself, I hope you are getting some help with the depression.

Thank you for your kind words.... I am not depressed, but sad.  I have had a loss (deaths...some very close) at least one per month since June.  I slowly get over the grief of losing one friend (not really), by it being replaced with the passing of another.  It is sad, but that is life...  As I said, though....not depressed, just down...  and of course, when we are down...we become down about ourselves....

This is the only board I really post on. I visit the CT board (and sometimes the Ohio one) but this is the main one for me. I love this board because everyone is so supportive. I feel totally accepted here too.
